Other than alcohol being fun n kool n shit
I was idling on a typically droll Monday evening when the doorbell rang. My good friend stood there, bicycle held in one hand and a large fold of cash in the other... "We are going out!" he declared with triumph.
Dumping his bike in my garden we strode into the centre of town towards the only night club we knew would be busy: The Zoo/Cage! The huge fold of cash preceded us at an arms length at every pace and soon found ouselves in the VIP room, money a loft but dwindling. Cocktails, followed by shots, followed by more cocktails, followed by beers, followed by shots, and so on, led us towards a merry state of oblivion.
At some distracted hour we left the club and made our way to the kebab house. The kebab house, The Godfather, is situated over a railway line and as we stood there in the early hours of the morning a train pulled in. We ran at full speed to catch it but were just too late. To counter this failure we flagged a taxi and went to my house where I proceeded to grab more wine and fill my bag with books and my passport. We then went to my friends house and filled a bag with a tent, 6 pairs of shoes and 2 tins of tuna. From here we took a taxi to the central train station and ended up on a train heading to Southampton. The ferry port was closed and nothing was sailing to France for over 6 hours. This was too long so we found a bus service from Southampton to Portsmouth. As we arrived in Portsmouth the sun was still deep beyond the horizon. We finished the wine and strolled to the ticket office. Here we were joined by a travelling group of around 30 American students. Tickets bought, we joined them getting on to the ship. Here we spent the remainder of the money on whatever booze was available in the shop and chatted with the students.
Passing out we managed a couple of hours sleep before waking up with the ferry pulling into Cherbourg. We stayed in France for 5 days with no money. Hitchhiking to the Loire Valley like lost vagabonds before conspiring to get back to the UK and to a great party for the Friday evening.
What a trip...

Can anyone give me any advice...
I work overseas in Germany. A few months ago I crashed my car into a ditch during bad weather when the police arrived they arrested me for still being over the limit. They took my UK licence and give me a driving ban for the amount of alcohol still in my system I never or still haven't received any fine or court appearance or anything so basicly just took my licence.
I'm due to fly home from Germany in a months time. But I'm worried they will do something at the airport as I have heard they have done this to someone leaving the country to one of my past fellow workers and think it's strange I have received no fine or paperwork since. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
